What is in our chocolate
The short version: every bar contains milk and wheat, so none of them is gluten free and none is vegan. The long version, per bar, is below, copied from the packaging.
Per bar
Stroopwafel: contains milk and wheat. May contain traces of nuts.
Peanut butter: contains milk, wheat and peanuts. May contain traces of nuts.
Almond paste: contains milk, wheat and almonds. May contain traces of nuts.
The combi deal is one of each, so it covers all of the above.
Is it gluten free
No. Every bar has a wheat component, because the fillings are built on waffle and baked ingredients. We would rather say that plainly than have someone find out afterwards.
Is it vegan
No. These are milk chocolate bars and every one of them contains dairy.
Nut allergies
Take the "may contain traces of nuts" line seriously: the bars are made and handled in the same production, so cross contact is possible even in the flavours without a nut in the recipe. If the allergy is severe, this is not the right product.
Still unsure
Ask us before you buy. The packaging in the shop carries the same text, and staff will show you the actual wrapper rather than guess.
